My IL Senator Tammy Duckworth signed on to a bi-partisan letter to President Biden promoting possible US F-16’s to fight in our proxy war against Russia destroying Ukraine.
"After speaking with US, Ukrainian, and foreign leaders working to support Ukraine at the Munich Security Conference last month, we believe the US needs to take a hard look at providing F-16 aircraft to Ukraine."
Duckworth joined 4 other Democrats and 3 Republicans in welcoming a frightening escalation in the war that could possibly lead to all out nuclear confrontation with Russia.
President Biden, who early on warned the US proxy war could go nuclear with direct US involvement, tepidly pushed back saying "No F-16 fighters to Ukraine ‘for now’." But he has welcomed 2 Ukrainian pilots to America to "assess" their ability to command those high tech warplanes.
Sen. Duckworth is one of the most virulent supporters of perpetual war and US exceptionalism worldwide in Congress. She parlayed her service in our monstrous, criminal war in Iraq 20 years ago to ascend the peak of US political power, barely losing out in the 2020 VP race to Kamala Harris. She clearly has presidential ambitions.
Every Illinoisan, indeed ever American, should take a "hard look" at supporting a senator who has a diabolical affinity for endless war. Please write Senator Duckworth and plead with her to take her name off that insane, nuclear war endangering letter that could push the war in Ukraine past the point of no return.

Biden wants the war to continue until his next term at least.
After all, if one criticises or asks questions of a war-time President (who runs his campaign out of his basement) you will be called a treasonous Putin stooge.
It is obvious he’s not up to a traditional campaign and he’ll use the continuing war to wear aviators, avoid the public and the press.
Unfortunately, he probably wants it to escalate, or to find some other conflict in which he can put troops in “harm’s way” to accentuate the “wartime president”/”don’t change horses in midstream” angle.
It’s pretty sad. When he actually followed through on the withdrawal from Afghanistan, I thought he was intending to be a one-term president with “finally a return to peace” as his big legacy item. Now he looks like he’s going the “war is good for incumbents” re-election route.
My gawd it will be annoying to listen to the spin but I do enjoy yelling at my TV.
Right now it’s Tucker (he has Assange’s people on tonight if I remember correctly;-) then it will be Greenwald’s latest “Rumble” (I think that’s what the cool kids call them) then see if Antiwar has anything interesting, Paul, maybe some Dershow blathering but then it’s on to some noir via Britbox or AcornTV ; I free trial spam them with never-ending free trials…ef the borg/big tech overlords and their want of my money…..lol.

Tammy Duckworth became a bloodthirsty warmonger like John McCain. She is a veteran like he was that thought wars started by the US should go on till the end of time.
