  1. In the end the US has no jurisdiction over the rest of the world which ought to make a collective stand against this latest US hypocrisy.

    1. No western country will stand up to the U.S. Quite the contrary, they fully support it. The big hope is that the rest of the world can form an alliance strong enough to challenge the U.S. and the rest of the west. BRICS provides hope here, but it will take some time to gain substantial economic power.

      1. With a few exceptions – Unfortunately they won’t and if they did they’d be removed from their ”position” faster then you can say silent coup.

When European nations were freed from the Nazi’s after the second WW they all became US vassal states as if that had been the intended objective all-along – things like that don’t just happen by accident – So it should come as no surprise when you find out who actually financed the Nazi’s in the first place !

        1. “When European nations were freed from the Nazi’s after the second WW they all became US vassal states”

          Austria didn’t. Albania didn’t. Bulgaria didn’t. Czechoslovakia didn’t. The Eastern half of Germany didn’t. Hungary didn’t. Poland didn’t. Romania didn’t. Yugoslavia didn’t.

          1. European nations liberated by the US all became US vassal states – I thought that was obvious that the other parts of Europe were liberated by the Soviets.

The 1930’s and the lead-up to the 2nd WW was a very interesting time.

Are you able to proffer a logical explanation why my links detailing who financed the Nazi’s continue being removed?

          2. Even without your links, we know that Henry Ford was a big Nazi supporter, and so was Bush I’s father. Major U.S. corporations, like DuPont and General Motors built plants in Nazi Germany in case the U.S. lost the war — how is that not treason, BTW? And that’s just off the top of my head, I’m sure there were more.

          3. Definitely Treason – and yes there’s lots more however another aspect are the bankers.

I tend to get int a tiny weeny lil of trouble when I mention that Prescott Bush bailed out a bankrupt Nazi party back in 32 so Lets keep it on Wall Street bailing out the Nazi party.

Another thing I found it really suspicious how European nations were ”persuaded” during a 1930’s propaganda campaign to store their gold bullions in the US for safe keeping because the Nazi’s would be confiscating this.

How could they have known in advance?

All the trouble they had to go through to have it repatriated.

          4. “Are you able to proffer a logical explanation why my links detailing who financed the Nazi’s continue being removed?”

Well, that depends on what you mean by “continue.”

I only looked backward for about a two-week period, but during that period you’ve had a grand total of zero comments removed at Antiwar.com.

I suppose that if I looked back further, it’s possible that at some point you had a comment removed, although I don’t happen to recall it.

OK, now it’s MY turn to ask YOU something:

Are you lying, or just hallucinating, when you pretend that your comments “continue being removed?”

          5. The only links that I can imagine you’d remove would involve some nasty bigotry given we all know the type of links that topic entails.
But since you have determined that never happened here, someone must hangout elsewhere like Breitbart where some of the kids really hate a certain religion and do tend to get the mods upset with their links.

          6. That’s not the right answer – the correct answer is the one which would include a logical explanation why links detailing who financed the Nazi’s continue being removed.

Not interested pathetic excuses why you failed in a relatively easy search or to respond to your logical fallacies.

          7. The correct answer is that links detailing who financed the Nazi’s [sic] aren’t being removed (at least not at or by Antiwar.com, which is the only place I have control of and the ability to review internal information on).

            That’s a fact.

You don’t have to like the fact that it’s a fact.

It’s a fact whether you like the fact that it’s a fact or not.

It’s also a fact whether you lie about it being a fact or not.

          8. That ought to be rather interesting, disqus has always claimed that it does not not moderate – so if the antiwar moderator isn’t and hasn’t been removing my comments then whom or WTF is?

Can you prove that you haven’t been removing my comments?

If need be I’m able to post screen shots that prove they have been removed.

          9. I’ve had comments blocked by Disqus on another site because they contained links. Maybe Disqus has another definition of “moderate,” but it’s BS to say that they don’t censor comments for whatever reason.

          10. Disqus will sometimes put a link in the “spam” moderation folder because it has links (as opposed to the “pending” moderation folder if it has content that seems to violate site specific word bans, etc.).

          11. Every Disqus account with administration and or moderation privileges is able to set the criteria for what will trigger moderation, that can include links and banned words plus a whole lot of other things I’m not going to get into now.

Disqus itself does not moderate that doesn’t mean to suggest that our activity isn’t being monitored by partners with full and unrestricted access to the servers – I’ve got some more on that however this isn’t the time or the place.

            However…..

Disqus was founded by Daniel Ha and Launched October 30, 2007

On December 5, 2017, Disqus was acquired by Zeta Global.

            Who are Zeta?

Using Yahoo finance….Zeta’s main share holders include GPI Capital LP who own 12.68%

GPI capital main shareholders are Blackstone and Goldman Sach’s

Blackstone’s main shareholders are Vanguard and Blackrock and Stanley Morgan

          12. Very difficult to impossible to totally avoid interacting with corporate America unless you totally remove yourself from this society. I’d rather keep reading and commenting using Disqus than not doing so, and while I hate Goldman Sachs, Blackstone, and Stanley Morgan, I’m going to continue using Disqus unless another alternative is provided or unless doing so starts contributing to what I consider to be substantial harm.

          13. How would I go about proving a negative?

And why would you bother to fake up screen shots “proving” something which didn’t happen? Is it really that important to you to play the victim, and if so, why?

          14. You’d be well advised to discontinue making unsupported allegations and instead concentrate of what is true.

The removed comments are really easy to find – Takes me less then a minute – however for a pompously self proclaimed supreme being master of time and dimensions this relatively easy task proved far beyond your ability.

Are you really that bad at researching or how likely is the possibility that there’s another reason?

F.e if you did find them you would subsequently have to consider providing a logical explanation why you decided to remove them.

How revealing of your character that you’ve decided to pretend that they do not exist or to already claim that if I were to provide a screen shot that it would automatically be regarded as a fake.

To me you’re a liar and fraud.

          15. Well, it appears one of us is a liar and a fraud.

But I’m not sure why or how you’ve convinced yourself that I’m afraid to explain myself when I delete comments. I only delete comments that violate this site’s guidelines. Never having seen the comments that you’re pretending once existed, I have no way of knowing whether, had they been real, I’d have deleted them or not. If I they had existed and I had deleted them, I’d have been happy to cite what provision of our guidelines they violated. As you’ll find out, one way or another, if you ever decide to stop pretending you’ve posted them and actually do so.

          16. I would not take anyone’s description of “vassal states” all that seriously.
As your short list shows, it ain’t true but is just another comment board hyperbolic term without much meaning in reality except when you streeeeetch definitions.

          17. Wouldn’t dare link to that site – however – you’d have to agree with the definition provided by MW is profound.

          18. And I can make it work for just about any relationship with about any nation we talk to on a regular basis.
It’s a empty internet comment section term that most do not take seriously but you obviously do.
Everyone is a vassal or even a lacky when the US is involved; right? Are you happy?
            Completely empty words ….

          19. Darlink – A dictionary does not contain empty words – It explains words and their meanings far better then you’ll ever will.

          20. Sure……
Comment boards and their participant’s personal definitions are something I care about. The hubris some here have is hilarious.
You are so full of Schiff you must stink horribly.

          21. It’s not an “empty internet comment” at all. Where a nation acts as a lapdog for another nation, like the U.K. did for the U.S. in Iraq War II, the former is a vassal state. Just because you dislike a term or a generalization doesn’t make them invalid.

          22. Just because you believe it does not make it valid Jeff.
You don’t even participate in the electorial process so your views are pretty outside the mainstream of the American populace Jeffery so your definition really are not that important to the political debate that others fully partipate on.
            But I still like you.

          23. Wrong! I vote every election, I just don’t vote for Democrats nor Republicans.

The fact that my views are outside the mainstream doesn’t invalidate them. In fact, quite the opposite. Most Americans are brainwashed fools who have no idea what’s going on. I don’t totally blame them, because if we had honest and wise politicians, they wouldn’t have to. People working 40 or more hours/week don’t have a lot of time for this unless they’re political junkies like we are. On the other hand, people get the government they deserve, so …

          24. Really? How do you account for western Europe’s fanatic and subservient (to the U.S.) reaction to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine? They have done far more harm to their own countries by these reactions than any potential threat from Russia could possibly account for. Those insane reactions were very clearly driven by the U.S.

          25. Jeff, if you did not hold the views you just expressed I’d be hugely disappointed in you.

    1. Julian Assange was the best journalist of my lifetime, maybe ever. The ruling class can’t have him or people like him exposing their murderous misdeeds. There are so few real national journalists left in the U.S. I could probably name them all.

      1. Not totally dead, but hard to find. This site, Jimmy Dore, Lee Camp, Glenn Greenwald, Aaron Mate, and Matt Taibbi off the top of my head are good. Chris Hedges does excellent commentary, and because he was a bureau chief for the New York Times and saw war zones and revolutions, first hand, he knows what he’s talking about.

The problem is that we shouldn’t have to make such efforts just to find the truth. Mainstream media should be truthful and in context, and should not censor stories they don’t like. But ever since Hitler aka Reagan, things have really gone downhill since. I was reading underground papers and getting my information from non-mainstream sources well before Reagan, but he caused a major sea change for the worse.

    1. Only $10,000? I should start saving, I could buy one. Maybe put them on display in our front yard, that would be infinitely better than allowing them to continue causing harm in the House of Lords.
