Donna, your goals are different than theirs are. You are seeking peace, while the people running the show are seeking war. This is not going to end well for any of us, and those in power seeking warfare are going to meet a horrible earthly fate. It is sad that they have to pull all of us along for the ride.
There is no preparation possible. Hypersonic missiles can not be intercepted by any technology the West possesses at this point. I just read an article that pointed out the best the West has is some radars that will give a couple minutes warning (before they are destroyed.) It's not even clear that some hypersonics can even be detected, IIRC.
