    1. Probably so. Tho Final President Trump will probably look for a way to give President Putin a political win so he himself gets one, too. Expect that Ukraine, while already a loser in this war, will end up a political loser as well.

      Additionally – one should remember that the "cut" in "cut and run" really means "cut your losses".

    2. Mr. Trump signed the articles of surrender with the Taliban in May, 2020.
      There was ample time to an orderly withdrawal. The withdrawal details was dumped on Mr. Biden, and when the withdrawal was finally done, haphazard as it was, it was done past the agreed upon date of withdrawal.

  4. By the way, go listen to Macgregor on Davis Friday. He dumps a bucket of cold water on the notion that Trump will do any better on Iran than he did last time, and that he won't be able to offer Russia anything – just as I said.

    1. He can offer precisely what Russia has wanted from the beginning, and nothing less. Putin will make that clear.
      Putin remembers that it was during the Trump administration of not long ago that withdrew the U.S. from the Open Skies treaty and the INF treaty.

  6. USA will abandon Ukraine in exchange for Russia abandoning Iran.
    That is the deal that USA will try to cut. USA will sacrifice all for its petulant problem child in the ME
    USA is first and foremost a blind, loyal frog that is carrying the Israeli scorpion on its back.

    1. That kind of deal can only work if the Russian regime perceives itself as needing the Iranian regime less than the Ukrainian regime needs the US regime. That may not be the case.

    1. Neocons are crawling about everywhere. Both side of the isle are being snufficated by them. Further complicating things is the other worldly demands by Israel.

  8. Mr. Putin is not going to give up the territories gained through referendum, and protection of the Russian speaking Ukraine citizens in Donbas.
    Mr. Putin may have as a stipulation that the two countries reinstitute the Open Skies treaty and the INF treaty.
    Further, Ukraine does not join NATO.

    1. Mr. Putin only has full control of two of the five territories “gained through referendum” (Crimea and Luhansk). He might eventually secure a third (Donestk), but it’s highly unlikely he’ll ever secure Kherson and Zaporzhzhia,. The fake referendums/annexations in those two oblasts were a mistake that’s going to cost him some domestic face when he tries to declare “victory” and slink home.

    NATO is playing war games with nuclear war with Russia and China. But they are selling it to us as a peaceful move. What dummy would believe that? NATO will put nukes in all member states, they say, "as long as nuclear weapons exist." This is proof that they are all warmongering lunatics, God help us.

    1. NATO will ignore Putin's warnings and accelerate the arms race and wars in Ukraine and the Middle East.
      I wish BRICS would be powerful enough to end NATO and take on the Almighty Dollar.
