IAEA Warns of Increased Iranian Enrichment, But Weapons Program Still Non-Existent: The report is being touted in the media as some fast dash by Iran towards a nuclear weapon, but the IAEA says nothing about any decision to develop nuclear weapons and the Obama administration has reiterated intelligence findings that Iran has no weapons program.
Dempsey: ‘I Don’t Want to Be Complicit’ in Israeli Strike on Iran: The United States will not be ‘complicit’ in an Israeli military strike on Iran, America’s top military general warned, adding that such an attack would fail to destroy Iran’s nuclear program and could prompt Iran to reconstitute its weapons programs.
US-Supported Warlord Group in Afghanistan Faces Mounting Allegations of Abuse: The US-supported Afghan Local Police continue to murder, rape, and bully ordinary Afghans, as overall news of the failed war in Afghanistan overshadows Obama administration propaganda about accomplishments and coming withdrawal of US troops.
UN Rights Investigator Blasts Israel Over Corrie Ruling: UN Special Rapporteur on Human Rights Richard Falk condemned an Israeli court for the dismissive ruling on Rachel Corrie, the American activist killed by an Israeli bulldozer, saying it represented a "defeat for justice and accountability and a victory for impunity for the Israeli military."
