As the war in Iraq drags on, less and less attention is being payed to the daily carnage there.
In addition to the hundreds of Iraqis dying every week, an average of three American troops are dying every day there. In the first 24 days of this month, 76 GIs have lost their lives.
A total of 2,105 US troops have died in Iraq since the invasion.
I am trying to find any info on a friend of mine who died in Iraq. His name is Benjamin “Ben” Hedges. He worked for a US Contractor. He was 34. He died in iraq two weeks ago. I dont know any more than that.
Does anyone have any ideas on where I can look to find out any more information ? ? Like, how he died, and where his body might be? And what the hell he was doing there? He doesnt have any family.

Unfortunately, there is no central list to check for contractors killed in Iraq. You need to contact the company he worked for.
Some companies have publicized the names of their fallen, and those are listed here:

But I don’t see his name listed.
