The US Department of Homeland Security announced yesterday that it is creating a “Disinformation Governance Board” to fight “disinformation.” Heading up the new outfit is, not surprisingly, a highly political Democratic Party operative who is herself a spreader of disinformation. What could go wrong? Also today: Germany caves to EU on Russia oil embargo and…another day another aid package to Ukraine: Biden asked for $33 billion!!!

“Your best source for antiwar news, viewpoints, and activities”. Thank you Dr Paul, & Daniel. Maybe, we can keep it simple: (even for our fellow viewers that don’t have 31 minutes to invest) the ugliness of war is here & the truth is trying to be controlled by Administration. // I am antiwar, there are those who are Prowar, some are ProUkraine, others ProRussia.
I am pro stop this nonsense. All of it!
Minus points for using the tired old “what could go wrong?” Yes, many in the masses think that cynicism equals intelligence, at least on their own side, not on the opponent’s. But the phrase is not an argument. Even less so than the equally tired “qui bono?”
But at least there’s no “I’m not making this up” or “you can’t make this up”. (Of course you can.) I once saw a guy use that three times in the same story, culminating in a majestic, “Guys, I swear I’m not making this up!”
OK Tell, grade this: the problem is that the Minister of Truth is like Mary Poppins on crack, and what would once have been assumed the incoherent output of a word game is now a simple observation of fact. We. Are fucked.
