Romania is in big trouble for the way it treats its Gypsy population. Y’know, leaving them alone, letting them maintain their customs, instead of assimilating them at gunpoint. Now, a Gypsy wedding between a 12-year-old girl and a 15-year-old boy may threaten Romania’s scheduled entry into the EU.

He praises the US-backed Iraqi council decision to ban Al Jazeera reporters from Iraq, but says they don’t go far enough: “Under present wartime circumstances, though, the United States has the ability — and, indeed, an urgent responsibility — to take more comprehensive action against Al Jazeera and Al Arabiya. Unless the two networks adjust their behavior so as no longer to act as the propaganda arm of our enemies, they should be taken off the air, one way or another.”

The insufferable Jeffrey T. Kuhner, Washington Times’ chief Croat apologist, abuses logic and truth in his most recent commentary.
Kuhner claims that Bosnian Muslims insist on a unified, centrally governed Bosnia despite the opposition of more than half the country’s population (36% Serbs and 17% Croats), which is true. It is also true that Alija Izetbegovic and his followers have aided and sheltered Al-Qaeda, during and after the Bosnian war, and there is evidence that this continues to be the case.
