Letter to the EU Greens About the War in Ukraine

In statements such as European Greens continue to stand in undivided solidarity with Ukraine, the EU Greens call the Russian invasion “unprovoked” and support sending arms to Ukraine. The EU Greens make a similar statement in US Elections: European Greens call for Jill Stein to step down.

The naiveté of the EU Greens about the war in Ukraine is surprising and disturbing, for four reasons.

First, the facts about U.S. provocations of the Russian invasion are widely avaiable; I will review them below. Those facts show that the U.S. shares a large proportion of responsibility for the war in Ukraine.

American Surgeon Dr. Feroze Sidhwa, Who Volunteered in Gaza, Interviewed by Dave DeCamp

Antiwar.com news editor Dave DeCamp interviews California trauma surgeon Feroze Sidhwa. Dr. Feroze saw real trauma in Gaza as a volunteer earlier this year.

He was one of 99 American healthcare workers in Gaza who released an open letter to the White House pleading for an end to Israel’s bombing of little children.

Dr. Sidhwa wrote a letter urging support for Antiwar.com’s fund drive.

‘Not for Long,’ Says Israeli Defense Minister After Hezbollah Names New Leader

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said Tuesday on social media that Hezbollah’s pick of Naim Qassem to lead the Lebanon-based political and paramilitary group would be “temporary” – a remark seen by many as an assassination threat.

Hezbollah tapped Qassem, its longtime deputy chief, to lead the group following Israel’s assassination of former Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah in Beirut last month.
