Sanctions Against
the Iraqi People

While we are very concerned over the current crisis caused by President Clinton's recent attack on Iraq, we are fully aware of the damage being caused to thousands of innocent Iraqis by the U.S.-imposed United Nations sanctions. Like all embargoes, this one is only hurting the Iraqi people and solidifying Saddam Hussein's hold on power in Iraq. We support the immediate lifting of sanctions and a return to free trade worldwide.
