Marin County (California) Republican Party Will Block Any GOP Candidates Who Support War in Yugoslavia

The Marin Republican Party announced today the Marin Republican Central Committee, at a special meeting held on April 15, 1999, passed the following resolution concerning the war in Yugoslavia:

Resolved,

The Marin Republican Central Committee opposes the war in Yugoslavia and will withhold its endorsement from any Republican presidential primary candidate who supports the war.

Furthermore, the Marin Republican Central Committee supports the efforts of Congressman Tom Campbell and Senator Robert Smith to either enact a declaration of war or withdraw from the conflict.
