(1) Hollywood premiere of Silver Circle, an independent animated action film, which pits a group of underground rebels against the oppressive Federal Reserve while creating a guerilla currency based on silver. (2) Anti-Drone Activism: A nationwide, month-long campaign of counter-drone teach-ins, rallies and protest, called "April Days of Action" by its organizers, will challenge the escalated use of drones for targeted assassination by the Obama Administration as well as domestic surveillance by police agencies around the United States. The actions will call for a total halt to drone killing and surveillance.

The USA’s War on Terror with its cost in lives, liberties and dollars has not defined the generation that grew up with it, but what they do about it will. TAC’s Communications Director and author of Our Last Hope, Mike Maharrey, will present the case against drones surveillance and killing.

North Korea Shifts Missile to Coast Amid Growing Tensions: South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan-Jin has confirmed that North Korea has moved a missile with "considerable range" to the east coast, just one day after the North Korean government warned nuclear war could begin "today or tomorrow."

Iran: Clear Proposals Ready for P5+1 Talks: One of Iran’s negotiators commented on the matter, saying that Iran had viewed the proposals from the February meeting and was set to present "clear, groundbreaking proposals" of their own at the Friday, Saturday meeting.

Hagel Outlines Impending Defense Cuts: Hagel said he was taking "a hard look" at wasteful weapons programs and superfluous personnel, but insisted "America does not have the luxury of retrenchment."

Syria Warns Jordan Over Training Rebels: Following reports earlier this week that the US is dramatically increasing Syrian rebel training along the Jordanian border, Syria has issued a statement warning that Jordan is "playing with fire" in allowing the training.

NATO Air Strike Kills Four Police, Two Civilians in Central Afghanistan: Another mistaken air strike in the Ghazni Province saw NATO warplanes attack a local police post in the Deh Yak District, killing four policemen and two civilian bystanders.

Gitmo Hunger Strike Growing: Detainees Say 130 Taking Part: The hunger strike among detainees at Guantanamo Bay is growing more dire by the day, with a number of the detainees in failing health. It is also growing in sheer size, according to detainee Shaker Aamer.
